Introducing the Student Driver Report Card: A Clear Picture of Your Student's Progress

We're excited to announce a new add-on service at North Island Driving School – the Report Card.
Whether you're a parent wanting to stay in the loop, an adult student tracking your own development, or an organization supporting a learner's journey, a Student Driver Report Card gives you a clear, written summary of where a student stands.
What's Included
The Report Card is a written progress report prepared by our administrative team using our standard Student Progress Report form. It draws on instructor lesson notes already on file, so no additional in-vehicle lesson time is needed. Each report includes:
- A 24-skill driving assessment, with each skill rated as Not Introduced, In Progress, or Competent
- An exam-readiness indicator
- Instructor comments and recommended areas for continued practice
- A grant or program reporting section where applicable, for supporting organizations
Who Can Request One
The Report Card is available to students, parents and legal guardians of students, adult students requesting their own summary, and supporting organizations (such as funding bodies, schools, or community programs) with the student's written consent.
Pricing and Turnaround
The Report Card is a flat fee of $75 (plus applicable taxes), regardless of who's requesting it. Standard turnaround is 5-10 business days from the date of request and payment, with delivery by email as a PDF.
A Note on Road Test Outcomes
The Report Card is a progress and development tool, it is a snapshot of skills built and identifies work still ahead. It isn't a prediction of ICBC road test results, which depend on many factors outside our control, including practice time, access to a vehicle and supporting driver, and conditions on the day of the exam.
